[ Mordrid ] [ Top ]
Mordrid is an ancient forgotten deity. Mordrid, at one point, was the most
powerful immortal of Rakanus. Mordrid was a chaotic immortal, wishing
the best for the realm but accomplishing his goals at any cost. His
worshippers are few but elite. The ancient god's favour is hard to gain
and easy to lose. Those who keep his favour are reward greatly, but those
whom lose it are harsely punished. Mordrid is the Lord of the Rings,
wielder of unspeakable power, source of numerous legends, and is called
the father of Rakanus.
[ Tathlyn ] [ Top ]
Tathlyn is a god of pure chaos and evil. He was forged from the Twilight
when Mordrid purged the world. Tathlyn is the Master of the Twilight.
He finds pleasure in destruction. He would seek to find all the Rings of
Chaos and bind them to himself. Tathlyn bears a great hate for the
Knights and Mordrid. This lord of destruction seeks followers with as much
hate as he. His worshipers must kneel to him and follow blindly, or pay
with there souls. Great power is what Tathlyn promises, but for means, and
a what cost?
[ Arlis ] [ Top ]
Arlis Mystic Wright of the Dark Brotherhood After the lose of his "True
Power," Arlis searched many lands to find the power deprived him long ago.
Instead of his desire for the one "True Power" of the Rings, Arlis grew
in mortal rite, and rising to know his own power, seized a time of
opportunity, with the Gods and Goddess' eyes were turned to other matters.
He cast a dark spell unto himself hoping to reveal to him the locations of
all the Rings. Backfire, in utter consequence, the Rings were not revealed
to him. Instead a blessing and a curse fell upon him. With the spell cast
upon himself, his very flesh changed, his soul damned for eternity to
reside within his body. An with his new found resonance, he found that
time was now his virtue in his search of his beloved power. Now with
every resource Arlis can muster, he fights. He beckons those of an
uncanny spring to help him in his cause, and fight with treacherous means
to find the Rings of Chaos.
[ Hallas ] [ Top ]
Hallas is an old deity, one of the few survivors of Mordrid's purge of
the heavens. He survived because of his rigid uprightness and despise
of all things evil. Hallas is a very lawful immortal, desiring the
conversion or destruction of all evil forces in Rakanus. He is a forgiving
deity, and his protection and favor is a much sought after thing.
[ Allora ] [ Top ]
Those who follow Allora, follow the path of light. Ridding the realms of
darkness and evil is something she and those who follow her will always
endeavor to do. She is not strict about how this is accomplished, only that
the intent and action cannot be unfair or cruel. The pursuit of fun and
mischief is very important to Allora, so perhaps the extremely serious and
law abiding would not find her to be a pleasing deity.
[ Delach ] [ Top ]
Those who choose to join the legions of Delach pledge their lives for the
sole purpose of dispelling all good fromm the lands. Devotion to Delach is
a life long commitment, but will be a life of many rewards for faithful
service. One must pledge to stop good at all costs, seek to turn those of
good to evil, and destroy all those who oppose evil, the legion of
Delach, and above all else, Lord Delach himself.
[ Talinx ] [ Top ]
Talinx is a neutral god who protects those who use their mental prowess to
conquer their adversaries. He promotes strengthing the mind and becoming
stronger mentally rather than using brute force. His followers persue
stronger magical and mental abilities rather than physical ones. He
treasures those with a high intellect and despises those who are foolish and
stupid. His followers are very unfond of races who use nothing but brute
strength and posses little intellect. Psions and Mages make up the most of
his following, but any wielder of magic may call upon Talinx for his
protection.
[ Amroth ] [ Top ]
Amroth, in his mortal coil, was an Elf. He wasn't a typical elf however,
because he loved all races except those of evil design. Amroth loves all
things in nature, as all elves do. He grants his powers of stealth and
self-preservation to those that choose to follow him. He frowns upon all
evil, and shows his distaste openly. Compared to the other Gods of Rakanus,
Amroth is very young, but in mortal spans of time, he is an Ancient being
who has just now decided to show himself to the lands.
[ Tilran ] [ Top ]
Tilran Warsbane, being of mortal origin and mind, and a strict follower of
the forces and followers of Hallas and the light, mourns death and the ruin
of good souls by evil above all else. Through his worshippers, he
constantly works not only to erradicate evil from the land, but also it's
sources. Famine, poverty, and greed are possibly worse enemies than Tathlyn
herself in his eyes. Unfortunately time is also an enemy in his war, and
there is not time to convert all, so Tilran aids his followers greatly in
their struggle against evil, whichever methods they choose.
[ Aurora ] [ Top ]
To those creatures who wish to truly turn their mind, body, and soul over to
the causing of suffering, worship of evil, the furtherment of despair, the
reign of chaos, look no further than Aurora, Queen of the Abyss. Master of
Demons, the Queen has one rule to her followers: serve. Those who wish to
'serve' must subjugate themselves to the Queen's will, although she does not
punish thoughtful questioning of her decisions, she fiercely punishes
disobedience. She welcomes any of those with a desire for the unholy into
her embrace of followers. The denizens of Light are her mortal enemies,
especially Hallas and Tilran, who stand for everything she abhors.
