[ Mordrid ] [ Top ]
Mordrid is an ancient forgotten deity. Mordrid, at one point, was the most powerful immortal of Rakanus. Mordrid was a chaotic immortal, wishing the best for the realm but accomplishing his goals at any cost. His worshippers are few but elite. The ancient god's favour is hard to gain and easy to lose. Those who keep his favour are reward greatly, but those whom lose it are harsely punished. Mordrid is the Lord of the Rings, wielder of unspeakable power, source of numerous legends, and is called the father of Rakanus.

Tathlyn is a god of pure chaos and evil. He was forged from the Twilight when Mordrid purged the world. Tathlyn is the Master of the Twilight. He finds pleasure in destruction. He would seek to find all the Rings of Chaos and bind them to himself. Tathlyn bears a great hate for the Knights and Mordrid. This lord of destruction seeks followers with as much hate as he. His worshipers must kneel to him and follow blindly, or pay with there souls. Great power is what Tathlyn promises, but for means, and a what cost?

Arlis Mystic Wright of the Dark Brotherhood After the lose of his "True Power," Arlis searched many lands to find the power deprived him long ago. Instead of his desire for the one "True Power" of the Rings, Arlis grew in mortal rite, and rising to know his own power, seized a time of opportunity, with the Gods and Goddess' eyes were turned to other matters. He cast a dark spell unto himself hoping to reveal to him the locations of all the Rings. Backfire, in utter consequence, the Rings were not revealed to him. Instead a blessing and a curse fell upon him. With the spell cast upon himself, his very flesh changed, his soul damned for eternity to reside within his body. An with his new found resonance, he found that time was now his virtue in his search of his beloved power. Now with every resource Arlis can muster, he fights. He beckons those of an uncanny spring to help him in his cause, and fight with treacherous means to find the Rings of Chaos.

Hallas is an old deity, one of the few survivors of Mordrid's purge of the heavens. He survived because of his rigid uprightness and despise of all things evil. Hallas is a very lawful immortal, desiring the conversion or destruction of all evil forces in Rakanus. He is a forgiving deity, and his protection and favor is a much sought after thing.

Those who follow Allora, follow the path of light. Ridding the realms of darkness and evil is something she and those who follow her will always endeavor to do. She is not strict about how this is accomplished, only that the intent and action cannot be unfair or cruel. The pursuit of fun and mischief is very important to Allora, so perhaps the extremely serious and law abiding would not find her to be a pleasing deity.

Those who choose to join the legions of Delach pledge their lives for the sole purpose of dispelling all good fromm the lands. Devotion to Delach is a life long commitment, but will be a life of many rewards for faithful service. One must pledge to stop good at all costs, seek to turn those of good to evil, and destroy all those who oppose evil, the legion of Delach, and above all else, Lord Delach himself.

Talinx is a neutral god who protects those who use their mental prowess to conquer their adversaries. He promotes strengthing the mind and becoming stronger mentally rather than using brute force. His followers persue stronger magical and mental abilities rather than physical ones. He treasures those with a high intellect and despises those who are foolish and stupid. His followers are very unfond of races who use nothing but brute strength and posses little intellect. Psions and Mages make up the most of his following, but any wielder of magic may call upon Talinx for his protection.

Amroth, in his mortal coil, was an Elf. He wasn't a typical elf however, because he loved all races except those of evil design. Amroth loves all things in nature, as all elves do. He grants his powers of stealth and self-preservation to those that choose to follow him. He frowns upon all evil, and shows his distaste openly. Compared to the other Gods of Rakanus, Amroth is very young, but in mortal spans of time, he is an Ancient being who has just now decided to show himself to the lands.

Tilran Warsbane, being of mortal origin and mind, and a strict follower of the forces and followers of Hallas and the light, mourns death and the ruin of good souls by evil above all else. Through his worshippers, he constantly works not only to erradicate evil from the land, but also it's sources. Famine, poverty, and greed are possibly worse enemies than Tathlyn herself in his eyes. Unfortunately time is also an enemy in his war, and there is not time to convert all, so Tilran aids his followers greatly in their struggle against evil, whichever methods they choose.

To those creatures who wish to truly turn their mind, body, and soul over to the causing of suffering, worship of evil, the furtherment of despair, the reign of chaos, look no further than Aurora, Queen of the Abyss. Master of Demons, the Queen has one rule to her followers: serve. Those who wish to 'serve' must subjugate themselves to the Queen's will, although she does not punish thoughtful questioning of her decisions, she fiercely punishes disobedience. She welcomes any of those with a desire for the unholy into her embrace of followers. The denizens of Light are her mortal enemies, especially Hallas and Tilran, who stand for everything she abhors.
